Ninth Planet Audio is a podcast production company launched by Mosaic Media, focused on producing premium original series for all audio platforms, from true crime and docuseries to scripted comedy - all of which feature compelling storytelling.
In 2019, Mosaic Media launched podcast production company, Ninth Planet Audio, in a deal with premium podcast platform Luminary Media. The first of their multi-series podcast deal launched in May of that year as a part of Luminary’s Premium offering with the 13-part nonfiction docuseries TELEPHONE STORIES: THE TRIALS OF MICHAEL JACKSON. Ninth Planet later launched their second show on Luminary, BRITISH VILLAINS, a riveting series chronicling the UK’s Great Train Robbery, with Executive Producers Will Green and Aaron Ginsburg at The Cut, and Ben Adair at Western Sound. Later, Ninth Planet Audio partnered with The Black List to create a unique filmmaking podcast. Co-hosted by Black List founder Franklin Leonard and Kate Hagen, the podcast features unproduced scripts as contemporary radio plays, as well as thoughtful, in-depth conversations with filmmakers, producers, and creators of all kinds.
Currently, Ninth Planet Audio has a first look deal with Will Ferrell’s Big Money Players podcast network, part of the iHeart Radio podcast network. Recent projects include WHAT FUTURE - a podcast with tech journalist Joshua Topolsky, REBEL SPIRIT - a comedic documentary from Akilah Hughes, DOES THIS MURDER MAKE ME LOOK GAY?! - a camp murder mystery from Ted Malawer, and JUDGE TRAVIS - a day time court tv parody from Tim Barnes.

In over a decade of experience, Elizabeth Baquet has produced dozens of television series, podcasts, digital videos, and live events. Her work as a producer on the series “Billy on the Street” with Billy Eichner earned her three Emmy nominations. As an Executive Producer for Ninth Planet Audio, she oversees many types of podcast projects and delights in working with so many fantastic audio creators to bring their visions to life for podcast listeners to fall in love with and enjoy.
